We are starting our Winter Handling Classes this Monday, January 12, 2026 at 7 pm.  They will be held at Companion Dog Training Center, located on Monticello Road in Weaverville.  If you haven’t been to any of our classes in 2026, you will need to fill out some paperwork when you arrive and be sure to **bring your proof of rabies certificate, or a phone photo of it for your pet. One pet per person, and bring lead and training treats. 

The good news is that we are having several professional handlers instruct our winter session.  Monday night’s class fee will be $5.00.  Future class fees will be $10.00.  If you have any questions, please call:

HANDLING HALLOWEEN CLASS

Handling Class

Instruction and tips for competition in the Sport of Breed Conformation.

Handling classes teach you and your dog how to compete in the show ring.

Learn how to conduct yourself and present your dog for conformation judging by practicing under the watchful eye of experienced dog handlers.

Handling Classes are NOT Obedience Classes

The Asheville Kennel Club does not teach Obedience Classes.
