The Asheville Kennel Club 2023 SPRING Session of Handling classes will start on Monday, May 1st, 2023 at 7PM. This session will run for 8 weeks and will end on June 26, 2023.  (There will NOT be a class on Monday, May 29, Memorial Day, due to a local weekend dog show.)

We will take a break during the hot months of the summer. No classes will be held during the months of July and August!

Classes will be held at the Companion Dog Training Center, 31 Monticello Rd., Weaverville, NC . As this is a new year you will be asked to fill in and sign new paper work for 2023. You must bring a current Rabies vaccination certificate. (Not just the tag.) A picture of the Rabies vaccination certificate on your cell phone will be accepted.  Also, bring a lead and training treats.  Only one dog per person at a time.

The fee per class is $5 for non club members and $3 for club members.

Pay-as-you-go Handling Class fees are best paid by check or cash only on the day of class. To use PayPal for a series of classes in advance you are welcome to do so. You do not need to add the fee (PayPal asks for) when you pay for a series – the club will absorb it.
(Members:  8 x $3 = $24 or non-members: 8 x $5 = $40)

Supervised children of any age are welcome at Handling Class, but only children 12 or older can take part in the class.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you and your dogs.

 Thank you.
